Allowing Diverse Human Resources to Excel
Basic Concept of Diversity
Based on SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group’s Diversity Management Policy (see here), diversity is not only defined in terms of gender, age, race, and other outward differences, but also in terms of careers, values, personality, and other factors. Likewise, we understand, recognize, and utilize the differences between each and every employee as strengths. In fiscal 2022, we established the Diversity Promotion Committee (see here). Moving forward, we will reinforce efforts that allow diverse human resources to excel. In principle, SEKISUI CHEMICAL Group treats non-full-time employees, such as contract employees appropriately. We are working to enhance welfare benefits for non-full-time employees, including health checkups, compensation for disabilities and illnesses that arise at work, and childcare leave. Meanwhile, only indefinite-term employees are eligible to join the Group’s insurance, retirement plan, and shareholding programs.
